Choose ONE of the topics and write a 150-180 word composition.

WRITING

1. FOOD AND RESTAURANTS
Write about the food at a restaurant you know well. Write about your favorite choices for appetizers, entree, dessert, etc. Include the ingredients, if possible.

2. TECHNOLOGY AND YOU
Write about  a product that you would like to get. Talk about its features and any disadvantage it has. It can be a gadget or a household appliance.

3. STAYING IN SHAPE
Write some advice for a friend who wants to practice a sport. Talk about what sport it is, how many calories they can burn, where they can practice it, how often and who with.

Write about the benefits and disadvantages of the Internet. You can briefly discuss its impact on your everyday job, education, social life or the way people shop. Remember to organize your composition with a short introductory sentence, your developing paragraph(s) and a concluding remark or summary.

2. ETHICS AND VALUES

Write about Matt's dilemma. In the first paragraph summarize the situation. In the second paragraph write about what Matt could or should do. In the third paragraph, write about what you would do if you were Matt. Explain your reasons using the unreal conditional.

Objective: Use fluently and freely the First Conditional to talk about possible future. 

A) Create a chain reaction by using the first conditional. Pay attention to the structure.

B) Make the following chain reaction to get familiar with the concept.

"I'm having a meeting tomorrow."
